Anonymous has a dilemma where he hasn’t been consistent with his decisions to a point that has infuriated his wife, he reached out to The Best T In the City for some advice on how to resolve his situation.
“Uncle T, two years ago my wife lost her mother and unfortunately my family couldn’t come from Limpopo due to financial constraints. My wife was visibly hurt but there was just nothing we could do at the time. Two weeks back I got a call from home that my cousin passed away. I no longer work and just have a small side hustle. My wife was adamant that I shouldn’t go, she said they couldn’t come for her my mother in-law’s funeral because of money so they will surely understand why I cannot go to my cousin’s funeral.
I, however, put my foot down and decided to go. Upon my return my wife was not talking to me and is even sleeping in the other room. I feel as though she is being petty and yes, I understand that she could still be hurt but surely, we will have to move on eventually.
Was I inconsiderate of her feelings? How can I help her move pass this, because I fear there’s still more drama and resistance to come from her? I have apologized but it seems to have not registered.”
