A frustrated listener shares that everything was going smoothly in his relationship until his girlfriend unexpectedly moved in without informing him. Although he loves his girlfriend, he feels that she rushed into this decision, and if she doesn’t move out soon, he might have to consider ending the relationship. Seeking advice from fellow Best T in the City listeners, Anonymous wants to know if there’s any way he can resolve this complicated situation.
“Early last year, I met an amazing woman, and things were going well until she decided to move in with me. She never discussed moving in with me. She just showed up one day with her bags and told me she was moving in. I told her after a couple of days that I was not comfortable with her fully moving in. I told her that on January 2, she should kindly move back to her place.
“She was angry and started saying that I do not love her and have no interest in marrying her. So we both went home for Christmas, but we came back on December 23. Upon arrival, I did revisit this turn for the worst. I do love her, but I don’t know what more to say to her. I want her to leave, and if she still doesn’t barge, then I fear that I am going to have to end things with her. Would I be too drastic if I did that? How do I get her to leave?”
