There are certain people who only see your value when they need something from you.
Do you have those people in your life?
Simply put, this is a friendship that relies on the benefits that the other person brings.
As you grow older, your friendship circle becomes smaller and most people you thought we’d be in your life today are no longer around.
It’s normal for people to grow apart, however, it could also be that you’ve come to realize that some friends are there only when it suits them.
Nobuhle says she’s been an orphan since she was 17 years old.
“Ever since I lost my parents no one came to check up on us. 80 percent of them never came to the house but now they know my number when I’m in trouble.”
In the Last Sip, Mapula shares how her friends only see her worth when they need her.
“People only call when they need something from me. I buy them presents but I’ve never received anything from them. Maybe the problem is me,” she tells The Best T in the City with Tbose.
