Former Miss SA and Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi joins 959 Breakfast with Dineo Ranaka and Sol Phenduka.
Speaking to the team, Zozibini says family is very important to her.
“I can’t live without them. I have three sisters who are my best friends
“We have normal sibling rivalry like stealing your sister’s clothes. Nothing hectic.
“I’m the tallest, my big. Sister and I are almost the same height. My little sister is the shortest she takes after my mom. I think I have the most beautiful sisters.”
On her parents’ separation
Although her parents have separated, they still have a good relationship.
“My parents get along so well. Thwy are separated, I remember when they came to watch me for Miss Universe and everyone not knowing that they are separated just because it was for the kids.
“I have a great relationship with both my parents.”
Zozibini would love to have kids of her own. She wants two so they can experience the same relationship she has with her sisters.
On launching her own foundation
The former Miss Universe is currently setting up her foundation. She says the process has been tough, even for a former beauty Queen.
“I am opening my foundation and people will not tell you how tough it is to be able to go out and find sponsors or people who’ll put money into things that actually matter.
“Even as miss universe. It might not be as tough for someone else who’s not Miss Universe but it definitely has its challenges when you have to convince people where the money is going.
Her foundation is for women, children, and education.
“Education is very important to me because I grew up with that thing that you have to get an education. My mom is a school principal and not only that but every South African child deserves to have one. A fighting to make it out in the world out there,” said Zozibini Tunzi.
