South African media personality Khanya Mkangisa and her newborn baby are the stars of the latest Bona Magazine cover.
This issue also marks a historic moment for the publication as it unveils its first-ever digital cover.
“Honoured to be partnering with @nuna_southafrica to grace @bona_mag’s first-ever digital cover 🥳… and I get to share the spotlight with my biggest blessing yet, my beautiful baby boy,” Mkangisa shared.
She continued, “Subscribe to Bona’s digital magazine to read about the joys of raising my son, the lessons I’ve learnt embracing my role as a new mum, my love for Nuna baby gear, and a much-needed life update.”
At the beginning of this year, Nounouche online broke the news of Mkangisa’s pregnancy.
Khanya shared that she had always been unsure about becoming a parent, but when she turned thirty-five, she had a change of heart. She expressed her disbelief upon finding out she was expecting, saying, “It’s crazy how you’ll still be shocked although it was like uhh, what did you think would happen? But you just never know what the universe wants and what God has planned for you so I cried, obviously. I’ve been crying a lot with my pregnancy, it’s just so emotional… Everyday I couldn’t believe that I was baking a whole human.”
