It’s been a month since Liesl and Musa Mthombeni tied the knot and the newlyweds decided it was time to share their ‘white wedding’ pics.
Keeping to an ‘all black’ theme the celebrity couple’s intimate wedding ceremony included just 30 of their nearest and dearest and was held on the outskirts of Pretoria.
Liesl’s stunning dress with buttons down the back with a statement bow on the shoulder was a rented gown by the Wedding Boutique SA.
The radio presenter said she didn’t want to fork out thousands on a dress and renting the dress was what made sense.
“Buying a designer dress in South Africa starts from R42 000 and I was like no way!” Liesl said people were shocked to learn her dress was a rental.
The couple’s traditional and white wedding were both held last month but they chose to share their white wedding pics to celebrate their 1-month anniversary.
Musa wore a tuxedo by bespoke South African tailor Grant Van Den Berg. He proposed to Liesl in June and within a month had already paid lobola.
