Lady Du was living her best life during a recent trip to Mexico. The vocalist taught the locals a thing or two about South African music and dance.
The amapiano star landed in Mexico a week ago for work. Not only was she touring the country with DJ PH, but she was also a special guest at an official government event.
Jose Humberto Salazar Contreras, municipal president of Jerez de García Salinas, invited Lady Du to a special function in the town. He joined Lady Du on stage during the festivities.
She taught the municipal president how to do the ‘Jerusalema’ dance.
“It is such moments where you realise this is no longer about you, guess who had the president of Mexico dancing last night after they gave us appreciation certificates. @cyrilramaphosa

Lady Du revealed that Mexican officials were so impressed with their performance they’ll be back next year.
“This is the first time Mexicans are introduced to our piano sound. They chose us to represent SA in making sure we open new doors. Can we also respect COVID rules like them hey. Such a welcoming country,” she wrote.
When she was not impressing locals with her amapiano sound and dance moves, Lady Du was exploring the streets of Mexico.
