Presidency spokesperson, Khusela Diko has reportedly been “reinstated on a warning”.
This is after over a year after taking a leave of absence from all official roles in government, pending investigations into her role in a dodgy personal protective equipment (PPE) contract between her husband and the Gauteng health department.

She was appointed in 2018 by President Cyril Ramaphosa:

Diko is the wife of the late King of amaBhaca Madikane II Thandisizwe Diko. Her husband passed away in February following a short illness.
Diko, who in 2019 became the first woman to be appointed as a spokesperson for the president, gave birth to her first child early this month, just months after her husband’s untimely death.
