Jabu Zuma has slammed Naomi Campbell’s open letter to her father Jacob Zuma. She told the British supermodel that she is “not qualified” to speak about her father’s issues.
Naomi made headlines a few days ago after her ‘Dear Former President Jacob Zuma’ letter went viral.
Naomi wrote the letter in response to the recent unrest in South Africa that left more than 300 people dead.
Riots broke out in parts of Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal after Zuma began his 15-month prison sentence.
“Each day you defy the courts and stoke division, you take a step backwards from Madiba’s vision for SA to prosper and for there to not only be equitable political justice but also economic justice,” Naomi wrote in her letter.

Jabu wrote a lengthy letter in response to Naomi. Her sister, Duduzile ‘Dudu’ Zuma-Sambudla, shared the letter on Twitter.
“So Proud Of My Sister Jabu Zuma For This Powerful Piece “Dear Naomi Campbell,” she wrote.
Jabu told Naomi that the recent “civil unrest is bigger than president Zuma’s arrest”.
“South Africans are hungry, impoverished, unemployed and tired of living whereby the government marginalises them. As history shows, when the poor have nothing else to eat they eat the rich,” she wrote.
Jabu also denied claims that her father was going out of his way to defy the courts.
“When you say he has gone out of his way to avoid court you are sorely mistaken – he has shown up to every court appearance except in cases whereby it was beyond his control.”
She added that her father has only wanted a fair trial.
“If you had actually been watching President Zuma over the last few years as you claim, you would be well aware of the fact that all he has ever called for was a fair trial. He has been more than willing to stand in front of a court and prove his innocence,” Jabu said.
Jabu closed off her letter by telling Naomi to mind her own business.
“Agree to keep your unsolicited opinions to yourself where you lack knowledge (this is one of those times). This is bigger than you and I, let’s leave it to the adults.”
