The 2019 edition of the Legacy Walk / Run held at Mushroom Park in Sandton on the 12th of October was a resounding success, with Afropolitans young and old joining the celebration.

Last year (2018) marked the centenary of the birth of Nelson Mandela, an important milestone of a towering figure in the history of our nation. This year’s Walk/Run was specially designed to celebrate and honour the values which Madiba lived by which are;
Transformation and Transparency.

At the end of the race, Afropolitans enjoyed music from the Kaya 959 DJs and a food market for the whole family.
