American actress Gabrielle Union has praised ‘Blood & Water‘ star Khosi Ngema for being “immensely talented”. The 48-year-old says she is impressed with what Khosi has achieved at such a young age.
“She plays Fikile Bhele on Netflix’s series Blood & Water (if you haven’t watched season 1, RUN DON’T WALK! Season 2 just started, and we are already deep). Khosi is only 21 years old and is already killing the game,” she wrote.
Gabrielle dedicates every Wednesday to her women crushes and she clearly has a big crush on the South African actress. She urged her followers to lift Khosi up “in the light of goodness and hold her there.”
“Not only does her natural skill as an actress shine through on the show, but also this young woman does it all! When she’s not stunning on Blood & Water, she’s STUNTING as a model and singer.
“Her passion for the arts quickly motivated her to break into the industry so much so, that when she landed the role for Blood & Water, she quickly moved from her hometown in Gauteng, South Africa to Cape Town to start filming,” the ‘L.A.’s Finest’ star said.

‘Blood & Water’ success
‘Blood & Water’ continues to keep viewers enthralled on Netflix. The South African show cracked the worldwide top 10 this week.
“Immensely blessed by all of you as our loyal fan base who go above and beyond in supporting #bloodandwater. So grateful for the ENTIRE TEAM who came together in order to make this happen. May God’s blessings flow over you all abundantly. ALL HONOUR AND PRAISE TO GOD ALMIGHTY,” writer and creator Nosipho Dumisa-Ngoasheng wrote on Instagram.
Season two of the show premiered on September 24. ‘Blood & Water’ is currently the number one most-watched show in SA on the streaming app. There are already plans for a season three.
Netflix is yet to confirm if the show will be renewed, but given the success of the series, it seems highly possible.
