She made the announcement shortly after celebrating her 30th birthday with her twin brother, Katlego. “Woke up 30 and engaged,” Karabo added on Instagram.
The media personality says that it was “the easiest YES”.
YoTV child stars all grown up
Karabo is the latest YoTV child star to get engaged. Musa Mthombeni shocked his fans in June when he revealed that he asked former Miss South Africa, Liesl Laurie, to marry him.
The couple kept their relationship a secret for almost a year. They recently tied the knot in a traditional ceremony.
Musa, who is now a qualified doctor, was one of the first celebrities to congratulate Karabo. “Would you look at that [black heart emoji]. Congrats,” he wrote.

Another YoTV star also commented on Karabo’s engagement post.
“Engaged looks good on you!!!!” Sidwell Ngwenya wrote.
Sidwell, who previously was known as ‘Psyfo’, also got hitched in the past year. He married Aamirah Mirah in November last year.
“Certified lover girl… I love this. I am happy for you,” Aamirah told Karabo.
