Former Miss South Africa and Miss Universe, Zozibini has announced a partnership with the Lions Cricket Union.
Lions Cricket administers all amateur cricket that is played in the following demarcated areas: Soweto, Kagiso, Johannesburg North, Alexandra, Wits and surrounding areas, Vaal, South East Area, Jeppe, Lenasia and Johannesburg Central.
Tunzi took to social media to share the news about her exciting new partnership.
She shared how at the centre of her partnership with Lions Cricket Union is her role in creating much needed diverse, inclusive, and sustainable social and economic change.
“I’m delighted to partner with the Lions Cricket Union to create a diverse, inclusive, and sustainable social and economic change with the focus on advancing women empowerment, poverty eradication and protection of children through the use of a combination of their platform and mine,” she wrote.
She also shared how the partnership was a perfect fit for her as they both have shared values.
“Lions Cricket beyond the cricket initiatives aim to create sustainable socio-economic change mainly in the education, health, poverty eradication and women empowerment. “
“With all our shared values I’m excited with the journey ahead that seeks to advance equality for all.” she wrote.

Tunzi who made history by being the longest-reigning Miss Universe will make her acting debut in the upcoming American historical epic film, “The Woman King”.
The movie which has garnered some buzz in the country is being shot on location in South Africa, she is joined by Masali Baduza, Seputla Sebogodi, Thando Dlomo and Makgotso Monyemorathoe.
Grammy Award-winner Lebo M is also said to have created five original songs for the film.
