Zookey Zarling accuses actor Kay Sibiya of drugging and raping her

Actor Kay Sibiya is being accused of drugging and raping former Gagasi FM presenter, Zookey Zarling which resulted in her falling pregnant with her daughter.

The Imbewu actor, who hasn’t addressed the claims of Zukiswa Vutela, has also been accused of trying to kill her, and being a deadbeat father.

Zookey’s damning allegations against Sibiya comes in a Facebook video which she uploaded a few days ago where she shares that she’s not exposing him for clout, instead so that her daughter be treated with dignity regardless of how she was conceived.

In the video, Zookey claims that Sibiya was sent to kill her first by pastors and drug lords, but that he drugged her and raped her.

Zookey who is now a sangoma (traditional healer), claims she woke up to find an expired condom inside her, and traumatic though the experience was, she has made peace with what happened.

“This is my story and the truth about my daughter Zia-Mia and how she was conceived through rape. Telling it myself because I’ve been quiet about it for the longest time.

How he was sent to kill me first but he drugged me and raped me, then when I woke up found an expired condom inside me. So now I don’t even care if they try again to kill me when I tell my story.

Today I tell it as rough as it is about Khumbulani Kay Sibiya.”

Zookey Zarling says that Sibiya continues to not take any responsibility for the daughter she claims he fathered through allegedly raping her in 2014.

According to Zookey, Sibiya’s parents apologised to her for their son’s actions and she accuses him of kicking his parents out of his home as a result.

She says she’s never denied Sibiya a paternity test and makes mention of the fact that she was never married to, nor dating the actor.

Zookey says at the time of the alleged rape, she was married to a Zimbabwean man.

“My plea is for my child to grow with the dignity she deserves and not be in the shadow of a man that keeps destroying her name and dignity.

I’m shocked because even my ex’s who are wealthy and relevant don’t appear but this b***h of a man keeps speaking nonsense about me.”

This isn’t the first time Zookey has spoken out about Kay Sibiya allegedly raping her, and in 2017, the former radio personality spoke to Drum about her 3-year fight to get the actor to pay her maintenance.

    • regulate, in harmony with international standards, the processing of personal information by public and private bodies in a manner that gives effect to the right to privacy subject to justifiable limitations that are aimed at protecting other rights and important interests,
    1. Definitions and Interpretation

    1.1.“Personal Information” means information relating to an identifiable, living, natural person and where it is applicable, identifiable, existing juristic person, including all information as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013. 

    1.2  Parliament assented to POPIA on 19 November 2013. The commencement date of section 1, Part A of Chapter 5, section 112 and section 113 was 11 April 2014. The commencement date of the other sections was 1 July 2020 (with the exception of section 110 and 114(4). The President of South Africa has proclaimed the POPI commencement date to be 1 July 2020.

     
    1.3. “Processing” means the creation, generation, communication, storage, destruction of personal information as more fully defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.  

    1.4. “You” or the “user” means any person who accesses and browses this website for any purpose. 

    1.4. “Website” means the website of the KAYA 959 at URL www.kaya959.co.za or such other URL as KAYA 959 may choose from time to time.
