Earlier this week, activist and author Zoleka Mandela revealed that she recently paid her Doctor a visit after having a sore back.
“I could no longer tolerate the excruciating pain in my left rib,” posted Zoleka.
After going for an X-ray scan, Zoleka Mandela found out she had a “pathological fracture and swelling caused by cancer.”
Her Medical Oncologist scheduled her for a CT and bone scan to determine whether she has cancer in the remaining parts of her body
Zoleka is yet to share the outcome of the scan results.
The author says she’s fearful for her life and doesn’t know how she’ll break the news to her children.
“What do I tell my children? How do I tell them that this time around, I may not get to live my life as a survivor? How do I tell them everything will be okay when it’s not? I’m dying … I don’t want to die,” the activist wrote.
Reacting to Zoleka’s post, Ayanda Thabethe says when you become a parent – “the biggest fear becomes having your children grow without you or losing them” and that’s why Zoleka Mandela post really broke heer heart. “Praying for a miracle for her,” added Ayanda.
