“You fulfilled your purpose and left your mark” – Lynn Forbes on preserving AKA’s legacy.
Months after his death, Kiernan ‘AKA’ Jarryd Forbes is still in Lynn’s memory.
Kiernan “AKA” Forbes died over four months ago on February 10 in Durban, outside the Wish Restaurant on Florida Road, AKA and his friend, the famous chef Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane, were both assassinated.

She wrote a letter to Kiernan on Instagram, outlining her plans to uphold the legacy he created.
“This world was not enough for you. You fulfilled your purpose and left your mark. There is nothing left for me to do but to preserve your legacy, the masterpiece that you have already built.”
“It’s a complete work of art and it will live on forever in it’s own right, without me.”
“I will honour you and preserve your memory, to the best of my ability, for the rest of my life,” she wrote.
