Adidas has confirmed its plans to sell Kanye West’s designs without his Yeezy name — and they will reportedly save them hundreds of millions of dollars.
According to reports, Adidas has confirmed its intention to market Kanye West’s creations without the Yeezy brand.
This decision is expected to save Adidas $300 million.
In an article that was released on Wednesday (Nov. 9) by CNN Business, Adidas announced that, despite ending its long-standing business partnership with Kanye West in October, it would start selling sneakers and items that had previously been created by the Chicago rapper-producer.

Adidas aims to completely eliminate the Yeezy moniker and any associated branding from its products, but the financial advantages of Ye’s designs, which it owns, are too great to completely stop using them.
“Adidas is the sole owner of all design rights registered to existing product, We intend to make use of these rights as early as 2023.” said Adidas Chief Financial Officer Harm Ohlmeyer
