Mzansi Magic has announced the return of controversial couple Nandipha (Queen Nandi) and Reverend Mlombi’s reality show, Nandi & The Rev, from Sunday, 12 July at 7pm.
Following Season 1, viewers were left with many questions about the state of the couple’s relationship and how they would navigate the challenges they faced, especially after the birth of their seventh child.
In the new season, Reverend Mlombi works to reclaim his role as the head of the household, while Nandi questions what she wants from her marriage and her personal journey.
Marriage, family and faith take centre stage
According to the channel, the couple’s relationship will once again take centre stage as they navigate difficult conversations, changing family dynamics and the pressures that come with life in the public eye.
“Having made peace with the church, Rev starts to explore the possibility of starting his own ministry, looking at whether he can rebuild his credibility and redefine faith on his terms.
“There are also intricate family relationship issues as both are set to confront unresolved matters, including Nandi’s fractured relationship with her siblings and the Rev’s search for answers about his father,” the channel said.
The new season promises an emotional look at the couple’s journey as they face personal, family and spiritual challenges while opening their lives to viewers once again.
