Kendrick Lamar, US rapper, paid a visit to Ghana, a West African country, just days before the release of his fifth studio album, which has been a huge hit.
Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers’ 18-track album debuted at the top of the charts on May 13, garnering praise from music fans and celebrities alike.
During his stay in Ghana, Kendrick had certain commercial vehicles known as ‘trotro’ branded into his album as part of the record marketing.
The well-known rapper and his entourage also spent time at Virgil Abloh’s Freedom Skatepark in Accra, where fans interacted with him and took photos with him.
He returned to Jamestown, a popular Ga settlement, to play games with several locals.
