Hail blows a news journalist away during a live broadcast.
The weather in Gauteng has seen hail storms, and thunderstorms, unlike the province, has seen in a very long time. .
Manqoba Mchunu, an eNCA journalist, has been praised for his bravery when he persisted in reporting on this week’s storm in Gauteng while being pummeled by golf ball-sized hail.
He was blown away out of the camera’s field of view a few seconds later.

Mchunu was providing an update on the hunt for worshippers who drowned in the Jukskei River over the weekend while performing a live crossing in the video.

The worst is still coming, apart from the stage 6 load-shedding expected in the coming days, the South African Weather Service has issued a Level 6 warning for Gauteng, Mpumalanga and the Eastern parts of the country.
