Amapiano sensation Pabi Cooper is over the moon. The youngster was recently presented with 2 platinum plaques.
She received a platinum plaque for her hit record Banyana Ke Bafana and a silver creator plaque from YouTube.
An ecstatic Pabi wrote: “OH DAMN! PLATINUM GIRLS WE UP. Went Platinum again, this time in 2 months under my record Label. 100K Subbies for Youtube. God is Good.”
The musician gave a special shoutout to her team, friends, the love of her life, and her family for the support they continue to show her.
Pabi was presented with her two plaques at Rockets in Bryanston.
Chatting to DJ Keyez recently on the ultimate Kaya 959 Top 30 Pabi revealed that she played football a lot while growing up.
“Playing football with the other kids on the streets, gave me my love for football. I love it, I used to play almost every day. It was how I passed most of my time. And I loved being a goalkeeper because I hated running.”
The musician shared that during her childhood, she changed schools a lot because she was a problematic child.
“My mom got called to school a lot. I changed when I got to Prestige and just decided, no it’s time to behave. So, I just focused on football and getting my work done.”
