Zahara’s death has taken a toll on her friend and fellow South African singer, Vusi Nova.
Since the Loliwe hitmaker’s passing on 11 December, Vusi Nova has shared a series of video posts, revealing how close he and Zahara were.
In his recent post, just a day ago, the Ndikuthandile artist shared that it’s going to take him a while to get over Bulelwa “Zahara” Mkutukana’s death…if ever.
Zahara died at the age of 36, after being hospitalized following complications with her liver.
Her untimely death shook the country, with many sharing that they could have done more to be there for her and support her in her time of need.
Not her close friend Vusi Nova however, who has remained at Zahara’s side through all the trials and tribulations that life threw at the pair.
The loss of Zahara has hit Vusi Nova hard, and he had to resort to receiving an IV energy boost after performing at Port Alfred on 26 December.
Vusi Nova vowed to take care of Zahara’s family in her absence and promised to take every secret shared between them to his grave.
“She was the one person who understood me. I understood her. Bulelwa took my secrets to the grave and I promise I will take her secrets to the grave.
I will never tell people what we spoke about. Your mother and father, your sisters, brother. Rest, I will take care of them.”
