The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival returns for a second year after taking a two-year hiatus in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
On Tuesday evening (CAT), the Coachella Valley finally announced their highly anticipated line-up.
Taking place across the two consecutive weekends of April 14-16 and April 21-23 in Indio California, this years line up is the festivals most diverse line up to date and includes some of the biggest names in music.
Bad Bunny, BLACKPINK and Frank Ocean are set to headline the festival throughout the weekend.
Bad Bunny will be the first Latin music artist to headline the festival and BLACKPINK will be the first Korean-pop group to ever perform solo on the main stage. Frank Ocean on the other hand, will be making return to Coachella stage. This comes after he was set to headline the festival in 2020 before its cancellation due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In addition to this, South African Amapiano DJ Uncle Waffles is also set to perform at the Music festival.
“Crying … vomiting … screaming”, Uncle Waffles shared in reaction to this announcement.
DJ Kyle Watson will also be flying the South African flag high at the Coachella festival.
Africa’s Giant Burna Boy will also be gracing the festival with his presence.
