In other news, earlier this week Lebo M was reportedly ordered to pay the legal costs of his ex-wife Nandi Ndlovu-GoodJohn’s in respect of their court battles.
This comes after Ndlovu-GoodJohn attorneys reportedly prevailed over him in a decade-long legal dispute over royalties on The Lion King and other works last year.
The United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ordered Morake to pay nearly half a million rands in legal expenses.
The legal team for Ndlovu-GoodJohn successfully resisted Morake’s request to have a Supreme Court ruling requiring him to pay her the money he owes her since February 26, 2007, reviewed, and set aside by the Supreme Court of Appeal in California.
“If any of the monthly payments to be made by Lebohang Morake to Nandi Ndlovu-GoodJohn are more than 30 days late, then the full agreed upon amount of the arrears of the $350 000 minus any payments that have been made will be due and payable,” read the Supreme Court judgement.
