Makhadzi’s performance at the SAMAs this past weekend was cut short – leaving her fans dissapointed.
Makhadzi stans were looking forward to seeing another world class performance and felt let down the sound quality and the fact that she was not given enough time on stage.
In a series of tweets that have since been deleted, Makhadzi said they cut her short because they “don’t value her talent.”
The musician says for some reason, she was treated differently.
“Everyone who was there during my rehearsals can tell that I was treated like they are doing me a favour.
“But I remain the queen of my work as I don’t want to disappoint my fans.”
Makhadzi notes that the problem started when she declined their choreography.
“I always want to perform with my own dancers. But the most important thing is how can you let me rehearse for five minutes when others were given unlimited time.”
