Thembi Seete celebrates turning 47 years old.
South African multi-talent star Thembi Seete is celebrating her 47th birthday.
Thembi Seete, who has had a long career in the entertainment industry has been blessed with youthful looks that continue to impress her followers. She is best known for her role as Gladys in the Mzansi Magic drama series Gomora. She became well-known in the 1990s when she was a part of the Boom Shaka musical ensemble.
Following the huge success of her first solo album “Lollipop” in 2001, Thembi released a second album called Smatsatsa, which had hits like “Shayi Zandla” and “Mphate Kahle,” along with kwaito sensation Skwatta Kamp.
Between 2000 and 2004, Seete landed a role at Gaz’lam, however, her breakthrough performance was in the drama series Yizo Yizo, but she also had a small part in the 2000 film Hijack Stories.
In addition, she performed the hit song Sure Ntombazana for the Yizo Yizo 2 soundtrack, which served as a springboard for her musical career.
In 2022, she was named the co-host of Mzansi Magic reality music competition Idols SA and she most recently played a controversial role on Showmax’s ‘Adulting’.

Seete took to Instagram to share snippets of her birthday celebrations where thanked God for her incredible journey.
