The Queens of Mzansi is a new reality show featuring five strong black women who have been tried and tested in life and wear their crowns with pride.
The Queens faced gender-based violence, divorce, financial difficulties, and for some, losing their partners.
Viewers will be given a front-row seat to their captivating personalities and often dramatic lives as they navigate through life.
Meet the cast:
Samkelisiwe Samke Mhlongo (35), is a divorced mother of two from KwaZulu Natal.
Lucky Mthembu (30) is Miss S.A Teen 2009, and a mother to a 2-year-old.
Lucky was engaged and the relationship ended in 2015 after she was severely assaulted.
Paloma Lolo Mlunjwana is a 35-year-old who hails from Zimbabwe. She met her first “Sugar daddy” on sugardaddy.com, who was a multi-millionaire and helped elevate her life.
Siphelele Petunia Makhanya, a 38-year-old widow and mother to an 8-year-old girl hails from Newcastle in KwaZulu Natal.
Last but not least is Ntombifuthi Mthembu, a 40- year -old businesswoman and a mother of two boys aged 18 and 8. She is the founder of ArmsNelly construction, a company she named after her parents.
At 24, she divorced her first husband and diversified her portfolio by investing in property in Dubai.
