Thandeka Dawn King has cautioned her followers against a fake diet ad that she’s featured in.
The award-winning actress shared with her followers that a weight loss company has used her pictures without her permission to promote a product.
According to Thandeka, she’s not on any weight loss products and does not endorse the brand.
This after a Facebook post under Thandeka’s name claims that the secret to her losing 19kgs without exercise is due to the keto gummies that had apparently been photoshopped onto her image.
The fake ad claims that Thandeka managed to lose weight in just two months, with a number of comments enquiring about the product.
However, Thandeka cautioned her followers against falling for the scam, saying the company had used her pictures to falsely advertise.
“There is a weight loss product that is being marketed falsely under my name and my images are being edited and used to sell something I have nothing to do with.
Please don’t fall for this or any other scams on Facebook or any social media platforms using my name and images. I am not currently active on Facebook. I have not endorsed any weight loss products.”
The Diep City actress says that her Facebook page has been hacked and that she’s not currently on the platform.
