The high-profile divorce between singer Teyana Taylor and former NBA player Iman Shumpert has reached a definitive conclusion, with a settlement that has captured widespread attention.
After eight years of marriage and a separation in 2023, the couple officially finalised their divorce in June 2024.
Details of the settlement reveal Taylor will receive a substantial financial package, including ownership of four luxury properties valued at over $10 million. Additionally, she is set to receive a one-time, seven-figure payment.
According to court papers, the agreement also includes several high-end vehicles, notably a $300 000 Maybach, a $70 000 Mercedes Sprinter, and a tour bus. Taylor will retain full ownership of her various business ventures.
In terms of child support, Shumpert is obligated to pay $8000 per month for their two daughters, along with covering the full cost of their private school education.
Despite the divorce, Taylor has publicly stated that she and Shumpert remain on amicable terms, clarifying that the split was not due to infidelity.
Beyond her legal victory, Taylor’s personal life has also been in the spotlight. Her recent appearance at the Oscars alongside actor Aaron Pierre has sparked dating rumors, suggesting she may have moved on romantically.
