The Springboks will have another edition to their family as Bongi Mbonambi and his wife have confirmed they are expecting their second baby.
On Mothers Day, 13 May Anastacia Mbonambi took to her Instagram to share the exciting news that she will soon be a mom of two.
“I love being a mom, now I’ll be a mom of 2 in a few months. Surprise, surprise, can only keep a secret for so long.
Being a mom is so many things at once, I can’t describe it in one word, but it’s the best thing ever, also the hardest thing ever.
Only by God’s grace and mercy that I’m able to be the best mom to my girl, now 5-years later, he blessed me with another.
God’s time is the perfect time, I’m in a much better place mentally and emotionally than a few years ago.
I absolutely loved doing this mommy and me shoot with my big girl, my first born, my whole heart.”
Since the Boks won back to back World Cup Rugby titles, Faf de Klerk, Eben Etzeberh and Handre Pollard have welcomed new additions to their family.
Bongi Mbonambi made headlines last year England flanker, Tom Curry accused the Bok player of hurling a racially discriminating insult at him, during the Springboks’ narrow semi-final win.
Curry, who approached referee Ben O’Keefe about Mbonambi allegedly calling him a “white c#nt” lodged a complaint with World Rugby who on Monday, 20 October said they would be investigating the incident.
Mbonambi was allowed to start in the Springboks’ final clash against the All Blacks after World Rugby found insufficient evidence against the Springboks specialist hooker.
