Real Housewives of Durban star Sorisha Naidoo recently shared a heartfelt tribute to her husband, Vivian Reddy, reflecting on his unwavering support during a recent health challenge.
Sorisha, who was hospitalised for a minor procedure, revealed how her husband’s actions deeply moved her. Despite her determination to return to Durban as soon as possible, Vivian remained steadfastly by her side.
“A soulmate is someone who keeps showing up,” Sorisha wrote. “I was recently in hospital for a minor procedure and was trying my best to get back to Durban as soon as possible. The procedure was at 6am, and my flight was booked for 1pm. Viv never left my side. On the day of the flight, all planes were grounded for five to six hours. There were no air conditioners, and the airport was packed with people. Not only did he carry every handbag, carry-on, and jacket, but he also made a bed for me, brought me food and water, and fussed over me. He ensured I was seated at all times, even while boarding.”
Sorisha revealed that Vivian missed an important year-end event and several meetings to prioritise her recovery. “He didn’t even mention it once. He also made sure, days later, that I took all my medication religiously. My man shows up every time, every second of the day, through my good, bad, and ugly days,” she said.
The media personality expressed her gratitude for her husband’s constant love and reminded herself to always cherish his efforts. “Baby, thank you for being the consistent husband in my life. Thank you also to the staff at Morningside Medi-Clinic for taking the best care of me. Thank you, Buli, for everything,” she added.
Sorisha concluded by sharing that she has fully recovered and is thriving, crediting her recovery to the grace of God.
Sorisha and Vivian Reddy, who tied the knot in 2003 in a lavish ceremony, share three children.
