Popular South African traditional healer and reality television star Gogo Skhotheni has launched her career as a DJ.
Having already established her presence in the podcasting world a few months ago, Skhotheni continues to expand her creative pursuits.
The mother of six made headlines after revealing that she was open to getting a third husband.
During a recent conversation with DJ Sbu, Gogo Skhotheni shed light on the distinction between having a talent and receiving an ancestral calling.
According to Gogo Skhotheni, talents are something we possess and should fully embrace.
“I could wake up and not see people’s problems because of my behaviour. Because I’m telling myself that I know everything while I’m actually being guided to know your problems. That is the difference, but a talent, nobody can take it away.”
She said that not everything would make sense. To this day, she doesn’t know how she managed to heal someone.
“There was a lady who couldn’t walk, and her husband brought her to me for help. To this day her husband thanks me every day and I don’t know how I helped her. I don’t have a method, and I don’t remember. But I remember telling my sisters that this is bigger than me.”
