South African television personality, Khanyi Mbau (39), has reflected on her recovery five months after she had an invasive facelift.
“Five months in, scar under my nose still a little visible, inflammation almost gone. @monocosmeticsurgery Thank you,” Khanyi wrote on Instagram.

In August 2024, the Young, Famous & African star shared that he had a fox eye lift, a subnasal lip lift and a blepharoplasty (to reduce sagging eyelids) done at Mono Clinic in Turkey.
She chronicled her journey on social media and told her followers that she sought a more permanent solution as she simply grew tired of having botox and fillers done every three months.
Khanyi Mbau is no stranger when it comes to cosmetic surgery.
The list of procedures she has had done includes liposuction, a boob job, fillers, botox and skin bleaching.
Meanwhile, Real Housewives of Durban star Jojo Robinson (38) has posted an in depth two-part series on social media to share her deep plane facelift journey.
She shared some exclusive graphic footage of her face during the healing process and admitted that she thought she had made a huge mistake.
“It was really important to me to show you guys everything because I wasn’t fully aware of what this surgery healing would look like, and it took me by complete surprise.
The first week, I got depressed because I thought I had made a massive mistake doing the surgery.. I looked like an absolute MONSTER ( some footage I never showed you guys),” Jojo said on Instagram
In December 2024, Jojo shared that she dissolved all her fillers and had a face and neck lift done by a Dr Paul McGarr in Durban.
The procedure cost her a whopping R113 000.
Jojo has also had multiple breast augmentations, an arm lift, a tummy tuck and liposuction done.
