In recent days, South African media personality and rapper Boity Thulo has been serving her followers the content they signed up for.
Thulo has been on a dreamy holiday at an undisclosed location, giving hints here and there. The 33-year-old has not revealed the purpose of her getaway; however, it seems to be purely leisure.
Boity opens up about her contract troubles
Boity recently opened up publicly about her music hiatus, offering clarity on a “very messy and terrible contract situation” that she had briefly touched on.
“It was one of the reasons I decided to take a step back because I wanted to clean up that contract situation before I got back into music; hence, I took a three-year break. Navigating through that, you can never be too careful. Even the best of the best in the world have been screwed over because of the tiniest detail,” she revealed, highlighting the fact that one can never be too careful.
Additionally, Boity noted that while the music industry has a lot of earning opportunities, many artists are often taken advantage of. “I wanted to know what I was getting myself into. It was very disheartening because you are doing something that is your talent and passion, and you get people who make you hate this thing. It has been difficult but worthwhile because it was a massive learning experience. You’ll literally sell your life away,” she said in part about her hiatus.
