With under a week left until the much-anticipated second season of Kings of Joburg, Netflix recently hosted a star-studded premiere in Sandton, North of Joburg.
Like any high-profile premiere, celebs brought their A-game to the red carpet.
Comedian Mpho Popps and television presenter Lootlove were the hosts on the day.
A look inside the Kings of Joburg premiere.
Connie Ferguson says Kings of Joburg season 2 is dedicated to her late husband and season 1 lead actor Shona Ferguson.
Sharing a teaser of the new season, Connie posted that the action drama is dedicated to the “most amazing human being I have ever known” in Shona Ferguson.
“Tik… Tok… We’re almost there. With the sudden and suspicious disappearance of the King of Joburg Simon Masire, the family struggles to adapt to a new king and new enemies in the City of Gold. Heavy is the crown, but it’s time to take back the city. Kings of Joburg season 2 coming January 27, only on Netflix.
