Twins, identical or fraternal generally share a very unique relationship and bond. This is no different for fraternal twins Owami and Olwethu Siko.
Born and bred in Vosloorus, Owami and Olwethu were naturally very close growing up. Due to their tough childhood and upbringing the sisters gravitated more and more towards each other and created a bond so close that they even decided to marry the same man, at only 21 years old.
After making headlines 11 years ago, twin sisters Owami and Olwethu return to the public eye with their new reality tv series, called ‘Twice as Bold’.
“Two bodies, one soul”, the twins share in a promo clip for their reality tv show.
With twice the drama, the 13-episode series follows the lives of the 31-year-old twin sisters, Olwethu and Owami.
Now divorced after nine years of marriage, the sisters who are ready to live life according to their own terms, take viewers on their journey to motherhood, spirituality, navigating family relationships and love.
The twins were married to TV director Mzukisenu Mzazi for nine years. The divorce is allegedly a result of years of suffering a tumultuous marriage.
In an article by the Sowetan, Mzazi has blamed Owami and Olwethu for preventing him to spend time and bond with his two 10-year-old daughters.
He also disputed all claims and allegations of abuse that was made about him.
Despite having an ongoing battle with the father of their children and a failed marriage the Siko twins have made it clear that they want to share the same man, again!
“We both want the same. He will sponsor us financially…”, Owami and Olwethu share.
