Nomzamo Mbatha pens a heartfelt message “To the Queens of Shaka iLembe” as Women’s Month ends.
Nomzamo Mbatha celebrated the women actors on Shaka iLembe as she concluded Women’s Month.
The outstanding Nomzamo Mbatha plays Queen Nandi, who bravely safeguarded her son despite the difficulties she encountered, including rejection and humiliation.
In addition to playing the lead in the film, Nomzamo serves as the executive producer for Shaka iLembe.
The actress and executive producer posted a special message and pictures of the woman she was tipping her hat to on her Instagram page on Thursday.

Queen Nandi’s Legacy for South African women
Mbatha who worked with the cream of the crop of female actresses in South Africa spoke in an interview with DStv about the important legacy of her character Queen Nandi has today in the country.
“Her legacy has always pushed past barriers and continues to speak to the modern-day woman who is either a single mother fighting for her child or navigating patriarchal spaces“
