South Africa’s most outspoken polygamist, Musa Mseleku believes monogamy will always have men cheating on the woman they’re either married to or dating.
The businessman and husband to 4 wives told women if they wanted to stop their man from cheating on them, and maintaining “side chicks”, that polygamy is the answer.
Sharing a video clip to his Instagram page, the reality show creator endorsed polygamy, saying the reason so many marriages are failing is because men are too afraid to broach the subject of introducing another wife to the current wife.
Mseleku is of the opinion that society is to blame, creating the wrong atmosphere for men who now have to hide the fact that they are dating outside their marriage.
According to the father of 10, the idea that a man must only be allowed to be with 1 woman comes from Western customs and does not fall part of African traditions and customs.
“We took a Western custom, where a man is only allowed to date one person, and incorporated it into our African customs.
It’s not part of our custom, hence men will continue to cheat.
We’re not being given a platform for discussion. Of course, it’s impossible to have a discussion with a lioness.
The moment I feel attacked, I’ll walk away from the conversation. However, you can’t stop me from being loved.”
The popular polygamist hosts Mnakwethu, a show about men asking their wives for permission to take a second wife.
