Actress Manaka Ranaka has vowed to knock exotic dancer Zodwa Wabantu out, when the two go head to head in the boxing ring on 22 October.
The South African Female Celebrity Boxing Exhibition was put together by Infinity International Boxing.
In a video, the Generations: The Legacy actress warned Zodwa Wabantu that she’s had boxing gloves for a long time, and said she’s not going to hold back her punches.
“Zodwa and I are both kasi girls, we’re not going to fight with helicopter hands. This is the perfect match-up. I’ve always had boxing gloves, so if Zodwa steps into the ring wearing a g-string, I’ll expose my potboelly and show her flames.
Zodwa will not know what hit her when she gets into the ring wth me. I’m going to knock her out.”
Award-winning actress Manaka Ranaka, fondly known as Lucy on SABC1’s Generations: The Legacy, says she is looking forward to knocking popular dancer Zodwa Wabantu out.
In response, Zodwa Wabantu clad in just underwear bated Manaka Ranaka on in a video, telling her to come and try her best because she is more than ready for their clash.
Zodwa who confirmed that she was looking forward to getting into the ring with Khanyi Mbau, was disappointed when the actress and businesswoman squashed the fight between them as fake news.
Khanyi immediately distanced herself from the fight with Zodwa, saying she’s a lady and her brand will never allow her to do something like that.
