The Grammy-winning house legend and South Africa’s vocal powerhouse team up with Axel Tosca and Manoo on a three-part Afro-house saga celebrating healing, hope, and global collaboration.

American DJ and record producer “Little Louie” Vega (Luis Ferdinand Vega Jr.) has joined forces with East London-born South African composer and singer Msaki (Asanda Lusaseni-Mvana) on an inspiring new single, “Mercy of Time.”
Released through Vega Records, the Afro-house and soulful house track features renowned Cuban pianist, composer, and producer Axel Tosca, along with the rhythmic touch of internationally respected DJ and producer Manoo, whose infectious drums form the heartbeat of the record.
A journey across three cities
Reflecting on how special the journey of creating the track with the house music icon was, Msaki said their collaboration took place across three continents.
“Louie and I met in South Africa 🇿🇦, started writing new music together in New York, and then I first heard the record in Amsterdam,” Msaki shared.
She added that “Mercy of Time” is fundamentally a song about surrender.
“It’s a three-part saga of epic proportions that travels three emotional landscapes.”

According to the label, Msaki’s evocative lyrics and captivating vocal performance intertwine seamlessly with Axel Tosca’s virtuoso musicianship and Louie Vega’s signature production style. In a recent post, Louie Vega expressed his gratitude for how well received the song has been so far, sharing that the track touches his heart.

According to Louie Vega, the track has already hit the #1 Afro-House spot on Traxsource.

Msaki has earned international recognition through her award-winning solo work and hit collaborations with Black Coffee, Sun-El Musician, and Prince Kaybee, namely the multi-platinum hit song “Fetch Your Life”.
Her songwriting and vocal contributions to Black Coffee’s Grammy Award-winning album have also earned her a place among the continent’s most respected contemporary artists.
Meanwhile, Louie Vega, a Grammy Award-winning house music producer and DJ, is known for his timeless tracks such as “London Roots”, “Diamond Life”, “Elevator (Going Up)”, and many other iconic house anthems that continue to rule dance floors around the globe.
