Bathu founder, Theo Baloyi is a happy man after President Cyril Ramaphosa showed off his pair of Bathu sneakers.
In a clip that has gone viral on social media, the president is seen fitting on his sneakers in a suit.
Reacting to the video, Theo Baloyi couldn’t contain his excitement as he thanked the President for wearing his brand.

It recently became public knowledge that Somizi turned down a R1 million rands “thank you” gesture from Theo for his contribution to Bathu.
Opening up about how the rejection made him feel on My Top 10 at 10 with Tbose, Theo said that “it was an affirmation of the kind of person Somizi is.”
He added: “It was a genuine sense of gratitude but then again it aligned with the values because it’s something that I would do depending on the context.
“I knew me and Somizi aligned in our values.”
