The Legends Barbershop empire continues growing to newer heights day by day.
From expanding its footprints across various parts of South Africa and abroad, not to mention adding hair and grooming products to its catalogue, to now providing the youth with a new Training and Development Centre, it’s clear that this is only the beginning for the popular franchise.
Founded by Sheldon Tatchell, Legends Barbershop has established itself as South Africa’s leading barbershop, at the forefront of South Africa’s Beauty and Grooming industry.
In a series of social media posts, Sheldon shared news about the Legends Training and Development Centre.
“I was 14 years old when I turned to barbering as a way to escape the reality of poverty that surrounded me”.
Sheldon continued: “I promised myself that one day I would open a school and help potential barbers not to go through the difficult process of learning this skill. Today that dream is now a reality”.
The creation of this Training and Development center will aid in youth development, providing employment and encouraging entrepreneurship amongst the youth.
“The Flagship Legends Training & Development Centre is finally opened as we look to empower the youth. This training centre will be helping in the reduction of unemployment with an estimated 200+ jobs that will be created annually as well as encourage entrepreneurship by offering them skills and a starter pack for their businesses”.
