Lebo Keswa is open to finding love again after her failed marriage to actress Letoya Makhene.
The couple who initially laughed off rumours that their marriage was on the rocks, can no longer hide the break in their union after their “bedroom antics” were made public recently.
In a podcast interview with TshisaLive, Lebo shares her version of what caused her marriage to end, claiming that infidelity, abuse and drugs were to blame.
What started as a long crush on Letoya turned into marriage where Lebo saw what she calls red flags but chose to ignore them because she was blinded by love.
While news of their marriage falling apart broke earlier this month, Lebo said things actually imploded months ago.
“The more I open up about this the more I realise the red flags have always been there.
I was blinded by love. I did not want this marriage to end. I wanted Letoya to close my eyes (when I die). I became ignorant of every single thing.
It happened with the kids, it happened with friends and family, it happened with our finances, it happened with our religious beliefs.
I’m in a good space now because I’ve gone through all the emotional turmoil. The only turmoil I had to deal with was my inner turmoil.
It’s taken a lot of people, and it’s taken a lot from me, I’ve had to seek help and consult with my psychologist, I’ve had to do counselling with my kids, I’ve had to speak to life coaches, I’ve had to go back home for prayer more than anything else.”

Lebo claims that she endured alleged emotional, verbal and physical abuse and chose to share her side of the story only after going for therapy.
Despite the setback in love, Lebo Keswa is optimistic about finding love again, saying she knows what she has to offer and believes she is deserving of love.
