Nadia Nakai is putting herself back out there, over a month after her partner, rapper Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes was murdered.
Nadia, or BRAGGA as she’s known by her fans, has her entire weekend booked out with gigs that she’s determined to commit to.
Since AKA was gunned down in Florida Road, Durban on 10 February, Nadia has shared that she’s been struggling to come to terms with his death.
Earlier this week, Nadia shared that she wasn’t sure if she will ever be ready to get on with her life again.
However, with a jam packed weekend ahead of her, BRAGGA said she’s going to have to try.
“You’re never ready, until you try. Thank you for all the love and support ❤️ see you this weekend!”

The rapper made her first appearance at Rockets in Bryanston on Friday, 24 March, and will be out in Menlyn and KONKA for the rest of the weekend.
AKA’s mom, Lynn Forbes told Nadia that her son will be with her every step of the way.
“Kiernan will be with there with you in spirit every step of the way. Chin up Beautiful … you’ve got this and we got you ❤️”

Tony Forbes, AKA’s dad was there to support Nadia during her performance at Rockets.
Nadia asked the crowd to show Tony some love because he’s actually the original “Supa Mega.”
Supa Mega was one of AKA’s stage names, with his legion of fans falling under the Megacy brigade.
