Kalawa Jazmee offers clarity about the estate of the late Emmanuel “Mjokes” Matsane.
After his passing, Emmanuel “Mjokes” Matsane, a member of the Trompies and co-director of Kalawa Jazmee, left behind a wife who has reportedly been left trying to deal with the aftermath.
According to Drum magazine His widow Mamello “Lami” Mogane has reportedly been in need of funds after struggling to put food on the table and not being able to pay rent for more than nine months.
Mjokes passed away following in car accident in 2021.
Drum claims that Mogane has been fighting to inherit the late musician’s estate.
In a statement, Kalawa Jazmee provided their perspective on the situation.

Drum magazine reports that the record company claimed to have made a sizable payment to Mjokes’ estate.
To make sure that the late Trompies actor’s family benefits from his estate, Kalawa Jazmee has stated that procedures are being followed.
The statemet said:”We have paid a significant amount to the estate and any disbursements are the responsibility of the estate as authorised by the executor and the Master of the High Court.
Kalawa’s responsibility is to cooperate with the estate in this process and pay any amounts that are due to the estate which we have done, any further amounts are subject to valuation processes that are underway. These processes take time.”
