South African YouTuber Lasizwe Dambuza has announced that he will be going on a date with politician Julius Malema as part of his popular Awkward Dates YouTube show.
The highly anticipated episode is set to air this Thursday afternoon at 3 pm.
Julius Malema has recently been vocal about his feelings regarding the departures of several influential figures from the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF).
Fans are particularly eager to see how Malema addresses this pressing issue within the show’s unconventional and light-hearted format.
Speaking recently to Clement Manyathela for an interview on SABC News, Malema noted that despite Floyd Shivambu’s departure, the EFF continues to thrive.
“The leadership of the EFF remains intact. Although his departure was painful, I got some sense of relief. I don’t know why. It was as if I had put down some heavy load. So it is not always that bad things will always produce bad results,” he said.
He also revealed that they are no longer close. “I have anything to do with him. What brought us together was a common purpose. We met in the trenches. What brought us together was sharing a common agenda for the revolution,” said Malema.
