Jub Jub has distanced himself from fake social media accounts that are impersonating him or linking him to Shebeshxt’s tragic accident.
The Uyajola 9/9 presenter who is currently out on bail for charges of rape, shared in a video on Instagram that he has never met Shebeshxt who lost his daughter in an accident on 08 June.
“It has come to my attention, through my team that there are a lot of Facebook accounts that have been opened.
There’s a lot of scams going around from people claiming to be about forex trading or asking people to invest money and what not.
It’s reached now to a point where it’s crossing boundaries where they’re speaking about Shebeshxt’s accident.
I really have nothing to do with that, I’ve said nothing about it, I have no opinion, I don’t know the boy, I’ve never met the boy and nobody should also have an opinion too.
Please let’s let him and his family grieve in peace and let’s respect each other’s privacy.
Not only have I been attacked but a number of my mates as well have been targeted by these fake accounts.”
Jub Jub detailed his official social media accounts, and asked people to stop believing the fake scam accounts.
Shebeshxt was hospitalised following the tragic accident that claimed his 9-year old daughter, Onathile’s life.
The little girl will be laid to rest this Saturday, 22 June in Limpopo.
