The announcement of Season Four of The Real Housewives of Durban brought a lot of surprises, one of which was the absence of fan-favorite Annie Mthembu. Annie revealed that she would be taking a break from the show, leaving viewers shocked.
A lot of viewers had expected Jojo Robinson to be the first to leave. In season three, Jojo announced that she would not be returning to the show. However, she had a change of heart. Recently, Jojo took to social media to explain her decision to remain part of the cast.
Jojo had recently revamped her new home and felt that she couldn’t just leave without giving fans a proper tour of her beautiful abode. Moreover, she didn’t want the toxicity from the other housewives to bring her down.
But perhaps the most important reason for Jojo’s decision was that she had “healed her wounds from last year.” This personal growth played a significant role in her choice to continue her journey on the show.
Everyone keeps asking why I did it again….I’m a woman, I changed my mind.. like I do every 5 minutes of the day.. Also, cause my house is really fancy now, and I wanted to show that shit off. Indoor heated pool and what not..
My story wasn’t gonna end with that toxic sh*t show from last year.. The story needed to go on..
I also healed all the wounds from last year, so now I was ready for new ones😂😂😂 I clearly forgot how painful those were..
