The Real Housewives of Durban star, Jojo Robinson, and her husband, Calven, recently celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary.
Jojo took to social media to commemorate this special day in their love journey. She expressed that their wedding anniversary signifies nine years of being married to her best friend and having all her dreams come true. She added, “Life only really started for me when I met my boo 10 years ago. We’ve travelled the world, we became a family, and we made memories that form part of everything I am.”
Furthermore, Jojo shared her deep love and appreciation for her husband. She exclaimed, “love you so much. Thank you for being exactly who you are. Happy anniversary, my boo Calven Robinson.”
In April of this year. Jojo Robinson announced that she would not be returning to The Real Housewives of Durban next season. Jojo made the announcement through her Instagram stories amid the growing tension among the group of ladies.
“I’m sorry, this is not how friendship works. Toxic behavior like this is not normal. We as a group had a massive platform to inspire our young girls, and instead, we have shown nothing but how to hate and fight.”
In addition, Jojo revealed that she was a victim of bullying in high school, and being around the housewives continues to trigger her.
“I was bullied in school, and here I am watching similar things happening again on national TV for the whole country to see. In school, people told the one friend I had not to be friends with me. And it worked. At one point, I remember eating lunch in the bathroom so no one would see that I had no friends. Me running away crying…because this is a past trauma I dealt with. And I am reliving it as an adult. I will never do housewives again.”
