Lira has given an update about her health.
Lerato Molapo, also known by her stage name Lira, returned to social media in 2023 for the first time and offered an update on her health.
The multi-talented songstress, who has won six South African Music Awards (SAMAs), is rediscovering her voice and regaining strength.
The singer revealed last year that she had a stroke, and it took her months to recover.
Lira’s speech was impacted, and she has been making an effort to recover while moving cautiously.

Lerato says her speech is slowly recovering, but she’s doing everything she can to keep herself sane in an Instagram post after rejoining social media.
“Complements of the new year! I haven’t posted this year. My speech healing is very slow, I’m doing the best I can to remain sane. I’m still alive and well. I wish great health, prosperity and love,” she captioned post.
